The workshops are aimed for those:

In these workshops, we have 3 modules:

1. SAS / BASE
2. SAS/Advanced
3. SAS Project

Many people are coming to us and asking for SAS project / hands on experience on SAS coding. And whenever they started working on SAS tasks, they are struggling a lot with lack of subject. Even though they got trained on SAS, they are unable to work on SAS tasks.
Here the problem is that they did not learn SAS as a practical subject.
The trainers in many training centers, teaching SAS by using some PPT/PDF presentations and giving text book style definitions as notes. But this type of training doesn’t work out to be a SAS programmer.
Due to this reason, they are unable to clear SAS/BASE certifications also.

Duration:
1^st modules:  2 days (SAT & SUN) (8 hrs per day)
2^nd modules:  2 days (SAT & SUN) (8 hrs per day)
3^rd module alone needs 4 days (2 weekends)

SAS/BASE:
As a part of this module we are going to cover the following topics:

• BASICS
• RAW DATA
• FUNCIONS
• PROCEDURES & ODS
• COMBING DATASETS

 By the end of this session you will come to know:
How to write a SAS program, how to deal with Length, using of functions, working with Procedures, reporting with ODS, methods to handle huge data, etc..

 

SAS/Advance:
As a part of this module we are going to cover the following topics:

• PROC SQL
• MACRO
• SAS/ACCESS

By the end of this session you will come to know:
How to create, modify and delete SAS tables using SQL, dealing with duplicate data, Combining tables using Union, Joins etc…
And as a part of macros, you will be able to create macro variables in multiple ways, and knowledge on using of existing macros, and also capable to write, use and save your own macros and debugging of macros, etc…

  SAS PROJECT/ Case Studies:
As part of this module, you are going to get experience in the following areas.

1. Extraction of data into SAS (3 levels: Simple, Medium, Complex)
2. Manipulation on SAS data (Data cleaning, Validation, other modifications)
3. Reporting in other file formats (weekly, monthly, annual reports)
4. Automization (end-to-end use of macro coding)
5. CV preparation (adding SAS skills)
6. Mock-Interviews (2 rounds)

(It is not any PPT/PDF presentation. It’s a Complete Practical exposer to the real time project)
By the end of this session you will be ready to:
You can write your own SAS code to extract/clean/validate data from multiple external files.
You can manipulate the data; you can perform analysis and can report in various file formats. You also can automize your tasks.
